The newly established Youth Sports Club Aries, founded in 2023, engages in various activities including martial arts (Ju-Jitsu), outdoor sports and recreation - water sports (SUP, kayaking), youth workshops, and various projects.
The founders of the club are former competitors and categorized athletes in Ju-Jitsu and Judo, who, in addition to martial arts, also engage in recreational water sports and youth work. In establishing the Youth Sports Club Aries, we have combined our passion for sports, the philosophy of martial arts, and working with young people.
The club regularly organizes Ju-Jitsu training sessions, held at the Youth Center Brežice. During the summer, we organize SUP and kayaking trips, as well as summer camps for children. Throughout the year the club also organizes youth workshops, where young people learn various skills and crafts, and participate in debates on current and taboo topics.
The club regularly collaborates with various organizations and associations in the Posavje region, such as the Institute for Entrepreneurship, Tourism and Youth Brežice, the Sports Association Brežice, and others. We are active members of the Sports Association Brežice, as well as the Ju-Jitsu and Jiu-Jitsu Federtion of Slovenia.
Through our activities, the club brings together different generations, promotes mutual cooperation, and acceptance of diversity.
